All About Karason Stoutbrü

Appearance: Short and stout, though any comparison to a teapot will be met with a dirty look. 3'11 in height, pale and heavyset by human standards. His mighty gert ginger beard is only matched by his mighty gert grin when he sees a potential patron in need of pint. Buried under a staggering amount of facial hair, Karason has soft facial features, usually set in a welcoming or friendly expression. Bushy ginger eyebrows and eyes like polished moonstone. His hair is short at only an inch or two and unassuming in contrast to the acres of well-groomed beard, braided and cuffed with metal and gemstones.

Karason, ever the host and barman, tends to stick to formal attire. A ruffled shirt and a pair of sturdy trousers. Ever ready to throw on an apron and tend whatever improvised bar he can procure. While out in the sticks, looking for new ingredients and reagents for his assorted brews, he may throw on his sturdy leather jacket. A thick leather bandolier, lined with canisters and tubes is used to store his finds. Karason is even known to venture out with a keg or two, slung over either shoulder. You never know when enchanted forest folk might appear and it's only polite to offer them a drink while riffling though their mushrooms and lichen.

Background: Early on, Karason had decided on a profession. To become one of the unsung Dwarven heroes. Seldom are songs sung for those that make the booze, but without the booze, songs are seldom sung at all. While the local brews of his hold were certainly exceptional, Karason was saddened that he had no real point of reference. How could he be sure the beverages he was creating were the best, if he didn't try everything on offer? Brew everything on offer? Make new and bizarre concoctions out in the great wide world.
So it was, with a heavy heart, the young Dwarf set out into the unknown. He vowed he'd return once he was confident that his creations were without equal.

Personality: Karason is cool and calm by nature. A natural peace keeper. He just wants everyone to have a good time and a good drink. On occasion, he has been called upon to sort out an unruly patron or two and he will defend himself in a pinch. General speaking however, he is not fond of violence. Karason preferring instead, to defuse a nasty situation with enormous quantities of alcohol.
Karason lives for his trade, for exploration and expanding his knowledge and skills.

2
Wisp Deadlight
The strangest thing about Edelweiss's plight was the necromancers and their influence after the tragic events of the kingdom's destruction. They didn't exist for long but they left a mark on history. They even managed to make a wisp undead which violated many rules the ancient deities had... Especially since wisps were considered souls of the dead in the first place. This wisp deadlight, as Edelweiss residents called it, is capable of giving off enough light for a small group of people underground. The light this dead wisp gives off almost pulsates and is not a steady source of illumination.
