Name: Story

Aliases: Thorn, Judicator

Age: Very old. Only appears to be in his late-20's or early 30's in human form.

Race: Eldritch Dragon - Formerly classified as an Umbral Dragon. He and his race were born of the primordial darkness of the Void. They were responsible for crafting some of the very first mortal vampires. After an encounter with his brother, whom he had imprisoned many ages ago, Story absorbed a strange entity that had aided his escape. He became a different creature entirely. Something…more.

Gender: Male

Affiliations: In ancient times, he was a knight-errant in human courts, and a feared grand judge of his kin. Some of this era has permanently branded itself upon him, but the dragon now follows his own enigmatic ambitions.

Homeland: His species settled in a forgotten region of Canelux. Only desecrated and buried ruins exist now - silent testaments to the fury which his brothers' tyranny wrought.

Residence: Transient.

Occupation: Interloper, mediator, catalyst…whatever is required of him in any given situation. The dragon takes great interest in the tales of others (such is his namesake). It is unclear if this is a quirk, or if he does so for some sort of personal gain.

Base Class: Arc Knight - Ancient warrior that places high value in what is considered sacred, and blends techniques of both the East and the West. Wields spiritual magics in tandem with deft melee combat, effectively making them the first of the "Spellsword" archetype. Not to be confused with Paladins, for their morality is traditionally grey, and their power is drawn from within and around them, rather than from the Gods.

Abilities and Powers: Reiterating the significance of his given name, Story can discern Fate threads. It's a subtle and ambiguous form of far-sight. He sees not one outcome, but multiple possibilities and the roads to them. This ability seems unique to him among his species, as well as an uncanny empathy and insight into mortal life and existence as a whole. When changing form, he fully becomes whatever shape he inhabits despite having a true form - a known trait of elementals and celestial beings. As a man, he has gleaned much in the way of martial prowess. Drawing on a borderless library of sources over many ages to refine his own technique and style, Story is an unholy terror on any battlefield when wielding a mace. In any form, the dragon uses magics that draw upon the dark, the spirit, and his own blood.

Body: In both forms, he is lithe, but very densely-muscled. His wing span is vast, and the membranes possess a soft bio-luminescence, with shifting auroras of color.

Skin: As a man, he has a fair ebony skin tone. As a dragon, he has black scales that shimmer as though touched by stardust.

Eyes: Dark indigo

Hair Color/Style: Black with hints of silver; Wavy and swept back, a full salt and pepper beard, and thick body hair. As a dragon, his head is crowned with horns that are somewhat stag-like.

Voice: Deep, husky, and acutely tinged with a refined accent that predates modern Vilpamolan's dialect. (French/Cajun)
